There are several PC-based OCR programs that do a decent job. However, unless you're going to copy each image to a PC, let it run, and copy the text back, that doesn't do a lot for you.
Are there any OCR programs that run under IBM-i?

I'll have a set of TIF images and I'll need to read a text value near a given location for each file. This will be part of an app and not a one-time thing.
