*cd /foo*
*rm -rf **
... removes everything that doesn't start with a dot (.)
All that will be left is the .somethings .woof .arf.foo.bar files and
directories.
So after rm -rf * do an ls -al and remove anything except . and .. by *rm
-rf* 'ing it by its .name
. is the current dir
.. is the parent
