Rob,

I've got my prompt override program working at least as far as the
way it is done in the CHGJOBD and CHGUSRPRF commands. However, I would
like to be able to also give the user the ability to prompt an existing
definition but add a new one based on the existing one.

In hopes of accomplishing that, I specified a second key parm for
an action code such as *ADD, *CHG, and *DLT. This is fine for the first
time display which loads up the data and shows the *CHG action code. But
when I change the first key parm for the new definition and change the
action code to *ADD, then the data displayed in the other parms
disappears.

Is there a way to accomplish what I want? I suppose I could
create separate commands but then I'd also have to create a COPY command
-- four commands instead of just one. Is that the only way it can be
accomplished? Thanks for your attention.

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
