I almost always use the set system options on the first IPL and set the network attributes how they need to be, even before you get to the BRMS part. Then if the name is different you can easily change the BRMS systems name with the BRMS commands

If you change the network attributes after the first IPL completes you'll just add another reboot to get the names right.
