Thanks Dave and David. Unfortunately, I'm getting "QQQSVREG in QSYS type
*SRVPGM not found." The SQL reference says :"Prerequisites: In order to
use the REGEXP_REPLACE function, the International
Components for Unicode (ICU) option must be installed." I have no idea
what this is or how to install it, but getting this installed will, with
99.9% certainty, be nixed in favor of just continuing to use the RPG
routine. (FWIW, we are on v7r1.)
