I had to chuckle at this post because the way that RDi works by default is in part the result of people insisting that it work like SEU to make it easier to learn!

As others have noted you can change the default behaviours and display but while I have many customizations I still use the line number area because one of the few things SEU was good at was moving blocks on lines easily and those commands such as CC/MM/etc. can still be useful.

When using rdi, the editor is very clunky in that it seems to be geared more to old RPG. For example, the delete key wont combine lines below. So:

hitting the delete key.

Also, the sequence numbers arent really needed anymore i would think, but the editor seems to rely on them.

Is there a setting that can be changed so the editor would work more like Netbean IDE editor?
