Re: how to troubleshoot PASE errors?

The error is a git error where it can't verify the cert for your source
repo.

First, yum update then try again.

If it still doesn't work and the repo is already cloned:

git config http.sslVerify false

in the repo dir.

If it hasn't been cloned, you may have to try:

git config --global http.sslVerify false

until you have cloned it down, then you'll probably want to set that global
back:

git config --global http.sslVerify true

Save grief. No more QP2TERM. ssh me@myhost

And set your user shells in PASE to /QOpenSys/pkgs/bin/bash

Your ~/.profile:

# Optional test if needed to detect if we're in a PASE shell
# /QSYS.LIB/QSHELL.LIB/UNAME.PGM > /dev/null 2>&1
# if [ $? != 0 -a "$SHELL" != "/QOpenSys/pkgs/bin/bash" ]

PKGS=/QOpenSys/pkgs
export

PATH=$PKGS/bin:/QOpenSys/usr/bin:/QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/OPS/tools/bin:$PATH:$HOME/bin
export TERM=xterm
export PS1='\u@\h:\w\$ '

/QOpenSys/usr/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/QOpenSys/usr/bin/X11:/usr/sbin:.:/usr/bin

how to find where SSH is installed on the V7R2 system? 5733OPS is
installed. Options 1 thru 15.
