But keep in mind there's a lot in 7.1 which can cripple you. A classic
example is the lack of ciphers still acceptable to anyone else on the
internet.
And you're going to have a real joy upgrading since I don't think any
current hardware will support 7.1 so migrating to a newer OS and newer
hardware at the same time will be required. If you don't do this on a
regular basis you're probably better off to contract that out.
If the bean counters say do it yourself or it doesn't get done, there are
"migration" documents I can point you to.
