When you connect, are you putting in "servername:446". I always have to do this in power bi for it to connect since it communicates over the DRDA port 446.

I have already tried the DB2 connector together with the on-premise gateway. But I can't get it connected, an I suppose that is because it is for DB2 LUW as Justin also mentioned.
