I've never needed an IPL to remove an exit program, but I've never worked with that specific exit point.

Subject: RMVEXITPGM needs an IPL??
I am being told by a vendor that removing their exit program requires an IPL before it will be effictive. Specifically the exit point is QIBM_QDB_OPEN. Their exit programs were updated over the weekend but appear to be 'hampering performance'.
I have never heard that RMVEXITPGM requires an IPL. It is not documented so.
