We are still having problems with our WebSphere application connecting to
our iSeries at V7R1. We have all the latest groups installed.
This is what I received from our programming department manager:
Same error messages from last week from Java applications: "The
application requester cannot establish the connection. (Socket operation on
nonsocket: connect)".
PHP applications are throwing the same errors, just with different
messaging.
These applications open multiple connections, why well I do not know. We
get all sorts of application failures as it sends new request to our
iSeries for data. Each step displays a different error to the user but the
underlying error is always a connection issue.
QUESTION:
After changing a pre-start job entry for qrwtsrvr and qdazsoinit jobs, do
you have to restart the PJ for it to take affect?
