Not convinced that I am on-topic here, but it seems relevant to me:  Faced with the Young Turks v. The Patriarchy on a few occasions, this seemed to work reasonably well: focus new development on new needs for the front-line folks.   Get applications for the sales people in the field, the supervisors on the line, and all boss-level (See-all, touch-nothing) needs.  Let the back office continue with what has worked for 40 years.  Take a 10-year time frame to morph away from what is already entrenched and working.   Any one talking about 90-day swaps is to be excluded from the conversation as being unknowledgeable and immature in platform changes.

Justin,

I agree with you on the incremental releases. As I've asked the business,
wouldn't you rather have some of that new functionality sooner rather than
waiting for the whole package? I've also found that there have been times
where the business decides that they don't need all of the functionality
they originally asked for after having used the app for a while.
