Jim,

Which scheduler are you referring to?
Can you supply more details.

Paul

Save to the IBM i box that's attached. You'll be able to get to it if you
need with a USB.

I do it all the time, in fact I have jobs set up in the scheduler to run the
backups on a periodic basis.

Subject: Dual HMC's: Upgrade issue

Ok, I have two HMC's. One is local and one is at the remote DC.
The local one has the consoles for the two local Power 8's but can also
manage the remote system at the DC.
The remote one has the consoles for the Power 8 at the DC but can also
manage the two local systems here.
They are both running
Version: 8
Release: 8.6.0
Service pack: 2

I want to upgrade them to 9.

On the local HMC I went to save the upgrade data to the USB and had to go
stick it in.
Then it dawned on me, did I leave the stick in the remote one? Tried.
Nope.

So, in my scenario, should I upgrade the local one or wait until I can run
to the remote DC and stick the USB in that one?
I wonder what the DC charges to stick in a USB stick and will they get it
into the right machine?
