I just got an update from our BP's technical staff.
From what I can see, the EXP24S is supported now. It cannot be ordered new but can move from an existing system.

The last time I heard the term "GA2" was with Power 6 equipment. That
came out 3 months after GA1. 2-3 months seems consistent with P7 and P8
