kevin... looks like i about go this going...
here is my script...
#!/usr/local/bin/expect -f
set timeout 20
spawn sftp -vvv -oport=22 LSAMSSO@10.110.4.99 expect {
default {exit 2}
"continue connecting (yes/no)?" {send "yes\n"; exp_continue}
[send "*********\n"; exp_continue} "sftp>"my
}
send "lcd /lsams/sftp/export"
expect "sftp>"
send "cd /put/lsams/sftp/export"
expect "sftp>"
send "PUT srvbill.ZIP"
expect "sftp>"
send "lcd /tmp"
expect "sftp>"
send "cd /put/lsams/sftp/export"
expect "sftp>"
send "GET srvbill.ZIP"
expect "sftp>"
expect {
default {exit 2}
"not found" {exit 3}
"sftp>"
}
send "quit\n"
exit 0
so looks like i'm getting through the password authentication however
sftp command do not seem to be working.srvbill.ZIPlcd
last few lines in log show...
debug3: Sent message fd 5 T:16 I:1
debug3: SSH_FXP_REALPATH . -> /home/lsamsso
sftp> lcd /lsams/sftp/exportcd /put/lsams/sftp/exportPUT
/tmpcd /put/lsams/sftp/exportGET srvbill.ZIP"sftp>"
obviously i'm not doing something right with the "send" and "expect
commands... but can you see what the issue is?script).

All of the sftp commands will need to be in expect script. Spawn

we have key auth working for sftp but want to allow user password
so obviously why i'm pursuing expect...
using EXPECT, can I simply spawn the same sftp command I use for
theauth...??
l_sftpCommand = 'PATH=$PATH:/QOpenSys/usr/bin && sftp ' +
'-vvv ' +
'-oport=' + %trim(l_port) + ' ' +
'-b /tmp/sftpBatchFile.BCH ' +
%trim(l_userName) + '@' + %trim(l_host);
so basically in my EXPECT script, i say "spawn" and then specify
seesame sftp
command above and it will utilize the batch file? or do my sftpget/put
commands need to be built into the EXPECT script?
