The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I used the /QNTC file system years ago for access to network shares from
within RPG & CL.
However, it seemed to be a hit or miss kind of thing. Sometimes the folder
was found, sometimes not. I remember having to do MKDIR after any IPL to
regain access.
I was just curious if it has become more stable?
Our network user/passwords may not match in all cases, so I believe this
would be an issue.
Any opinions, suggestions or alternatives welcome.
