Ah, I try not to do that. The way I might do it instead is substring and sort on the substring.

Kind of thing. Not an ascending vs descending issue.
I've run into this before.
Sort of like using a SRTSEQ table on the CRTPF statement back in the DDS
days. This is what I think ORDER OF tries to do.

You could try playing around in Connection, JDBC configuration, Language.
There is a sort thing in there.

Is there a way to alter the Result Sort Sequence of a Run SQL Script
process in ACS? I have looked In the Interactive RUNSQL process the
Session Attributes allows the Sort Sequence to be changed from QEBCDIC
table in QSYS to the QSACII table in order to get the results returned in
the same order as a Excel spreadsheet (Numbers before Characters).
