Then I would write a simple parser and use the new DATA-INTO to process the results. Then be nice to the rest of the world and publish your parser!

For HTML the hardest part will be knowing when a tag ends if (as is often the case) the end is implied rather than coded - HTML is very sloppy and loose in its syntax compared with XML. But it may not be hard to write a parser for a specific HTML page if you know you can rely on which tags are present.
