thanks for the fast replies - ultimately i just need to view the contents
of the files...

Past employers have obviously known the windows "fix" because they would
get it resolved (some employers - some were clueless)

I'll try a mapping it!

I've dealt with this issue at numerous placed I have worked.

What causes windows to bomb when you drag/drop a file from IFS in opsNav
to
desktop? What is the solution?
