If that was the case he could just use CPYFRMIMPF.

Rob, has anyone ever told you that your best quality is that you spend
all your time trying to poke holes in anything that anyone else says?

Personally, my favorite thing about you is that you are so busy
telling everyone else to read carefully that you don't have the time
to do it yourself. Either that, or you are just inherently superior to
everyone else, and thus do not need to go to the trouble.

If you were walking down here on the ground with the mere mortals in
the group, maybe you would have noticed that I already stated, in my
first two sentences,

He did say that RDi imported it, and he did not mention getting
any errors when doing it that way.

So it is very possible that the data is right, and that CPYFRMIMPF
is having its own issues.

I had thought that if anyone could believe CPYFRMIMPF might have a
problem, it would be you. But maybe CPYFRMIMPF only messes up for you,
and for everyone else, it's perfect.

Finally, if additional code does need to be added to the Python
script, that is easily done. If you need to fix or compensate for a
shortcoming in CPYFRMIMPF, you have to wait for IBM or write something
else yourself. In which case you might as well have used Python (or
whatever else) in the first place.
