Those two connections exist in every partition and you cannot delete them. They are used for the HMC to the partition and I believe the 5250 HMC Console is actually connected through those as well. I BELIEVE one is to the primary HMC and one to the secondary HMC if present.

WIth other operating systems on POWER there needs to be an RMC connection to the partition, with IBM i that connection is automatic and doesn't require the HMC to have IP connection to the partition. This is part of that connection as I understand it.

Whatever they ARE they are NOT the source of your problem. :-)
