Significant?

140,0000 seems like a big number...

But it's only about 5% of the available 2,419,200 CPU seconds for a 28 day
month...

I can readily accept 5% of CPU for housekeeping...

Charles,

I'd like to believe that too, but when I ran Job Accounting reports for
the month of February 2018, a "significant" amount of system resources
aren't being reported using the accounting codes specified in my User
Profiles. They are getting lumped into -blank- , *NONE and *SYS ...

Nbr of CPU
Auxiliary
Trans Seconds I/O

Total jobs for Accounting Code -blank- 604 7,362.95 428489
Total jobs for Accounting Code *NONE 104 5,981.12 1770648
Total jobs for Accounting Code *SYS 57766 126,772.24 71792129

The page I linked to says " Since the journal entry is written after the
swap, the current user profile logged in the entry is not the user who used
the resources during the prior accounting segment."

I'd imagine the resources used by *NONE and *SYS are simply the inital
start-up and the cleanup between swaps...
