I feel I've gone horribly wrong ...
I have a full system save on LTO6 tape.
I installed the lic code from virt opt media (I've done it before and
continued on to install IBM i from that virt opt and the following virt opt
disks).
I did a D manual reboot with the tape (thru the VIOS) as the alternate
restart device.
The LPAR comes up and wants to reinstall the Lic Code which it does in
about 3-4 minutes.
Then I choose to install the OS from tape.
It finds the tape and chugs for 10 or 15 minutes "searching tape for
install media".
I then receive the dreaded:
Message . . . . . : The next volume in the sequence is needed to
continue the installation process.
Cause . . . . . . : The end of the volume has been reached.
Recovery . . . . : Load the next volume on the installation device.
End of show. Any pointers?
