Some time ago, we had a P5. Maintenance costs were high enough that
buying a new P7 was cheaper than keeping the P5. So from a strictly
economic perspective, it made sense to make that move even if we were
only going to keep that P7 for a year. Our monthly bill went down again
when we switched up to a P8.
