Run SQL Scripts is not like the others such as T-SQL. You have to
create and then execute the procedure. It annoyed me the first time
I started using IBM OS/400 SQL because I had started learning SQL
using MS SQL Server and T-SQL.

SYSTABLESTAT should get you the row counts you are looking for
without the need to loop through a data set.

OK, thanks. Well, SYSTABLESTAT may work in this case, but I have
a related case where I need to set certain columns to null in all of these
tables. So, I guess I will still have to create a stored procedure for
this.

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
