You are correct. Perceived additional work is not good.
I would think the TLA product would allow you to collate the documents so each copy has all pages together.
Did you ask them about that ?
Also if you have a multi-function printer that does stapling, all of the document assembly should be able to be automated as well.
We have customers who have used our iForms product to produce and assemble their documents in this fashion so I would think TLA should be able to accommodate.

subject: Switching multi-part pre-printed tractor feed forms to laser
We recently purchased TLAForms from TL Ashford; great product, great price, great company, great support. So I'm working on switching our forms over to laser; switching our check over went very smoothly.
Now I just switched our 2-part packing slips over to use NCR paper. BUT, I have one user that says we are going backwards in productivity with this move, due to the fact that she now has to match up/staple/paper-clip all the separate pieces of paper versus them having already been attached previously with the continuous feed forms. I can't really argue with her because she does make a good point. But it's not like we've added work in the process flow, because previously she passed the stack off to another worker who then had to burst all the forms; it's just more work for HER now!
Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation and have any suggestions for improving the paper handling? Ideally I'd love to just get rid of the paper, or at least the extra copy, but I've been informed multiple times that yes, they really do need both copies.
Also, anyone have suggestions for a good NCR paper supplier?
Thanks
