It actually contacts IBM and pulls from a publicly available system. The PSP information is pulled directly from IBM. So 'not available' means itnoworkie!

If you are getting that message than either or both of the following are true:

1) You are behind on PTFs. This is because the communications changed and the udpates are in a PTF.
2) You do not have your connection to IBM configured, that is if you do SNDPTFORD SF97730 it will fail and not download the cover letter.

Where does the IBM SYSTOOLS.PTF_GROUP_CURRENCY get its information from?

When I run this SQL query on IBM i 7.1:

    select * from SYSTOOLS.PTF_GROUP.CURRENCY

    I see:
    PSP INFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE

for every row for the first column ("PTF_GROUP_CURRENCY".

Where does it get that information  from, and what does "PSP information not available" really mean?

Thanks in advance,
