mmmm have you tried to create dummy image files on the target and replace them with your images using SFTP/FTP?

are the DSLO images loaded to an optical Image catalog, or tape image catalog?
most likely they are loaded to an optical image catalog, which makes them ISO images.

if they are kept to less than 4 gb you could make your own physical DVD’s.

The DSLO images that i’m using for upgrading our 50+ LPARS are FTP’d to each for the v7.3 upgrade.

as Rob said, as long as it’s in the IFS you can FTP the heck out them.

Bryan,

The DSLO image is not the same format of the ISO images.
DSLO image is the result of a SAVSYS, SAVLIB QGPL, and SAVLIB QUSRSYS.
