Thomas, I cannot see what message you are getting but it sounds like you
are getting an error where the program thinks a reboot is required to
complete an installation step.

I recall seeing this way back when and remember only that the solution
to the 'pending' message was to go into the Windows registry and set a
flag or delete an entry.

I think if you google the message you are getting you will find answers.

Hi,

I'm recovering from a catastrophe over the holidays where my C drive had to be wiped and Windows 10 installed from scratch.
(background: Windows Update on December 23rd wiped out all connectivity; no wireless, no direct connect to router, nothing).
Prior to this, I had both the old Client Access (v6.0) and the new Access Client (java) running on my PC.
So, I went to the ESS site and downloaded the IBM i Access Client v7.1 again.
I installed it and it's not the new Java version I had before. It looks exactly like the old Client Access.
The file I downloaded was "IBM i Access for Windows DVD 042010.iso", and I installed the 64 bit version.

Is that the correct one? What should I have downloaded instead?
What did I do wrong?

BTW, when I try to uninstall it, I get the following...

Problem is, I just restarted the PC. What might be pending?

Thanks in advance.
