I'm recovering from a catastrophe over the holidays where my C drive had
to be wiped and Windows 10 installed from scratch.
(background: Windows Update on December 23rd wiped out all connectivity;
no wireless, no direct connect to router, nothing).
Prior to this, I had both the old Client Access (v6.0) and the new
Access Client (java) running on my PC.
So, I went to the ESS site and downloaded the IBM i Access Client v7.1
again.
I installed it and it's not the new Java version I had before. It looks
exactly like the old Client Access.
The file I downloaded was "IBM i Access for Windows DVD 042010.iso", and
I installed the 64 bit version.
Is that the correct one? What should I have downloaded instead?
What did I do wrong?
BTW, when I try to uninstall it, I get the following...
Problem is, I just restarted the PC. What might be pending?
Thanks in advance.
