And I also have the follow up book by Dr. Frank Soltis, Fortress Rochester - The Inside Story of the IBM iSeries. For some reason, Amazon apparently has access to one person with the book, which I have, and is selling it used for $2,796.00. Anyone understand this????

If you folks are talking about the book "Inside the AS400" by Frank G. Soltis it was published by Duke Press.
I actually got my copy when I was invited to Rochester for a three day visit with IBM by my IBM rep.
Back in the days when we had IBM reps that actually came by to visit and see what you were doing.
