IDK if this question is of any value. No strike against you but once that
train gets rolling it's time to decide where you want to ride: In a car,
or under the wheels.
Sure, one can argue that you can design a very poor GUI and you could
design a great 5250 app. You could also argue whether the training will
be more or less based on what interface is available. But, you're wasting
time.
Now, if your question is what tool did you use, or something of that
genre, then the question does have value.
Oh, I'm sure that there are some who have successfully argued that 5250 is
more efficient. Heck we still use a bulk of our data entry via 5250 even
though our ERP has a GUI interface available. But, once that question
gets posed I think it's time to plan the project. And don't write up a
plan with a huge expense and gloom and doom unless your resume is up to
date.
