Hi,

I have a TS3100 with two SAS tape drives in it. 1 logical library.

It's connected to our system using two SAS cables. Each drive is plugged
into one of the connectors on a 5901/57B3 HBA card.

It shows up on the IBM i as TAPMLB01, TAP01, and TAP02.

I've allocated TAP01 and TAP02 to the library in WRKMLBSTS.

I want to try doing a parallel backup to it using BRMS so that it uses both
drives in the library simultaneously.

In the "Change Backup Control Group Attributes" screen where I can specify
up to four backup devices, what would I put in for the entries?

Does BRMS know automatically that TAPMLB01 has two drives in it and will use
both?

I've done this before with multiple stand-alone tape drives, just never with
a tape library.

Thanks,

Erik Dabrowsky
