We have a customer that just upgraded to V7R2 over the weekend. Now,
they're complaining about TN5250 sessions (our Java-based client,
presumably running on WinDoze boxes, possibly also Mac and/or Linux)
dropping.
Anybody have any ideas what could be going on?
I've got a terminal session open on their system right now. It's been up
for over ten minutes, without dropping on me, and if I look at a
WRKACTJOB, I see well over a hundred QPADEV* jobs active, often multiple
jobs for the same user, many of them with group jobs. That doesn't
square with jobs being dropped by the OS, although it might square with
some sort of network problem that's killing the connection on the client
side without killing it on the server side.
