Are these interactive jobs or batch? If batch you could wrap the jobs
with spawn and retrieve the end code that way.

Subject: Retrieving a job's end code

I am trying to retrieve the end code for a job and have had no luck
finding it
other than in the joblog itself. From the below text, I need to know
that the
job ended with a status 20. Is this stored anywhere other than the
joblog
and if so, how do I get to it? I also need to be able to retrieve
this even if the
job was set to *NOLIST and is deleted from the system immediately upon
completion.
