Good point. The term "file transfer" generally refers to copying files as
is, such as uploading an excel file to the IFS.

What John is really talking about is the idea of mapping columns from excel
to corresponding column in IBM i tables. That's what tools like ODBC or
JDBC drivers and database interfaces are designed to handle.
