Those codes are SSL errors. The client does not trust the CA that issued the certificate to the server.

You must first download the CA from the iSeries you are attempting to connect to and store it in the correct certificate database.

If you are using the old system I navigator, you can right click on the system and select properties.

Select the Secure Sockets tab. You can verify ssl connection and / or download the CA. (default password is ca400)

After downloading and installing the CA you will need to close System I Navigator.

Re-open and repeat to verify the SSL connection.

Hello;

I saw a post about this error about 10 years ago...but didn't really get much out of it for myself as a very new iSeries user.

There are two users that get that error attempting to connect to a V7R3 iSeries box. RC1 = 2 RC2 = 21. I'm quite stumped on this. They can't connect with the iSeries Navigator tool either.

A google search really didn't result in much information. Can anyone point me in some direction to assist with this?
