I’ve installed the “bigwig” on our LPARs.

the new software is a step BACKWARDS from the previous version.
in the previous version the ILMT server would control starting the scans and retrieving the data.

the new version requires you(WRKJOBSCDE) to submit the scans, both hardware and software, and manually send the data to the ILMT server. “big fix” my ass. Just one more piece of software that leaves the IBM i out of the “mainstream”.

i had the ILMT team setup a NFS share for me to mount and then copy the data to it.
