That previous post was in regards to creating an outbound CSV versus processing an inbound. I did look at that example and while I could mostly follow it, I didn't understand it all.

My concerns with using Python are:

#1 - Time constraints: I know nothing about Python - what's the learning curve? I don't have a lot of time to get this project done.
#2 - It's not currently installed on my system and I don't know what it would take to get it installed. I'm on 7.1 TR10.

You're right, this is the more appropriate list for this.

Especially since I think RPG is definitely not the best thing for this task.

I'll repeat my answer here: Use Python.

Other scripting languages might be similarly suitable, but even Kevin Adler (who I think prefers Ruby overall) recommended Python on your related post (to this list) from a few days ago.
