We're using Scott Klement's HTTPAPI to consume WEB services from RPG
programs. The default timeout for this API is 60 seconds. Does anybody
know how to change this value?

Feel free to send me any drafts you put together for your presentation
and I can provide some ideas perhaps.

I had a couple of open source sessions slated for last year on Java
based CL commands and also PHP web services, but our marketing team
decided not to sponsor my technical sessions so I cancelled them and
won't be submitting any for Spring 2018.

I think for IBM i folks who have not drunk the Open Source koolaid yet
:) the secret is to set up a PC with Linux at home and fiddle with this
stuff.

If we are to use Open Source as IBM increasingly prescribes for IBM i,
then we have to get used to the environment and also the ethos of a
community in which all users are participants and are expected, in
extremis, "to be able to paddle their own canoe across the lagoon", as
the Samoans say.

I have proposed a presentation on this subject for the spring COMMON.

Sad to hear you won't be presenting. Thanks for offer, when I work on my
presentation after the new year I'll get in touch.
