I remember watching some consultants spend 1-2 weeks looking for a "missingobject" (I think it was in JDE) because someone had gone through the joblog and discovered an "Object not found" message. They became obsessed withfinding that missing object and were convinced that it was causing someproblem they believed was happening in JDE.There was a bit of embarassment when I showed someone on the team a CLprogram that did a DLTOBJ and monitored for the not found message beforegoing ahead and creating it - and then pointed out it was a pretty norrmalprogramming practise to ensure the program was running in a consistentenvironment. On Fri, Oct 6, 2017 at 9:31 AM, DrFranken <midrange@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:> (face plant) RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!>> - Larry "DrFranken" Bolhuis>> www.Frankeni.com> www.iDevCloud.com - Personal Development IBM i timeshare service.> www.iInTheCloud.com - Commercial IBM i Cloud Hosting.>> On 10/5/2017 2:34 PM, Rob Berendt wrote:>>> See Larry we agree, I cannot agree with Barbara's moDe either.>>>>>> Rob Berendt>>>> --> This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list> To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options,> visit: https://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l> or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives> at https://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.>> Please contact support@xxxxxxxxxxxx for any subscription related> questions.>> Help support midrange.com by shopping at amazon.com with our affiliate> link: http://amzn.to/2dEadiD>-- RegardsEvan Harris-- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing listTo post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.comTo subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: https://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-lor email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.comBefore posting, please take a moment to review the archivesat https://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.Please contact support@xxxxxxxxxxxx for any subscription related questions.Help support midrange.com by shopping at amazon.com with our affiliate link: http://amzn.to/2dEadiD
