More details on my process:
RTF template created via MSWord and has pictures, bold characters,
different fonts etc. It also contains reserved keywords. It's saved to
IFS.
Then I copy RTF file via CPYFRMSTMF to a database file and via RPG
program replace reserved words with the data. Then via CPYTOSTMF I copy
"massaged" data back to RTF file. This part works perfectly. Now I need
to convert my RTF file into PDF in order to attach it to email. This
part of the process is unknown to me. If I understood you correctly it's
possible to read/update PDF files directly from RPG program. Could you
please tell me where I can find the documentation or sample code on how
to do this.
Thanks,
-Phil
