Thanks for your reply Charles
However - a different question as I may know what my problem is
My code is

prop = JDBC_Properties();
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'userName' : 'As400_login');
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'password' : 'alanshoreiscool');
JDBC_setProp(prop: 'databaseName' : 'DirectResponseAdmin');

conn = JDBC_ConnProp('com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver'
:'jdbc:sqlserver://WBOHQECDB01:1433'
: prop );
JDBC_freeProp(prop);

Where the server name is WBOHQECDB01

Here is my question
Should this server name be in the Host Table entry, with its ip address

Or - for this process - that's not a requirement

What I found is that this driver doesn't work for us. I don't
know why.

com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver

So, we had to use this driver:

net.sourceforge.jtds.jdbc.Driver

Dave Clark
