That is one method. We went a different route -- because it
allowed us to use standard embedded SQL in our RPG programs and is
better for performance because it prestarts a shared JVM for all
jobs to use. We downloaded a free, Source Forge project from one of
the members of this list (Dieter) called ApPServer4RPG:
