V7R2 and current on PTF's

Using HSSFR4 with POI version 3.8 creating .xlsx spreadsheet

Getting a java out of memory error.

Spreadsheet contains approximately 1,000,000 records.

I believe I need to increase the default heap size for the JVM but so far
google has failed me.

Has anyone come across this and solved it ?
