So, do you keep scuba gear in the trunk now that you're in TX?

That crap you're dealing with down there right now makes whatever snow we
get up here a walk in the park. The devil you know...

Why do you think I left Minnesota? I got stuck in a snow bank for 2 days in

Ordered. They even suggested the punch tool to go with it. I have a punch
tool already, but it's buried in a box in our storage unit. It's simpler to
get a second one. :-)

Eddie died a while back. I gave it to Steve Landess when we moved here in
2013. Apparently, he left it unplugged too long, and it wouldn't fire back
up. C'est la vie.

I've survived 2 tornadoes in Minnesota, multiple earthquakes in San
Francisco, and now a hurricane. I am thinking that I've hit the Trifecta!

Thanks for the info. Time to get out the copper sulfate spray to keep the
mold away.

This is exactly what you want. Existing cable on one side new cable on the
other side. I would put it in a box you can get at in case you need to.
It's
best if you have a 110 punch tool but for a one off like this two small
screwdrivers can work. Don't push the screwdriver in the slot the wire goes
into though. Instead one on each side so the wire is forced into the slot.

Hopefully Eddie survived!

Can anybody point me to a simple splicing kit?

Thanks
