This actually happened (eons ago). Nebraska was originally NB and then the
USPS got in a spitting contest and lost. Now NB is New Brunswick. But that
was before too many orgs used computers, much less databases. I only
remember because our company did and had to "fix" ours.

Can you imagine: Losing a contest to CANADA? How embarrassing.
