I wish user account directors on computers would allow for this kind of design. A username that is never seen and never used except to have access rights assigned and instead the user would logon with an alias that is tied to that username. If the alias needs to change (aka due to marriage or divorce) it would bt no big deal.

From the 'Believe it or Not' files comes this one: a new customer signs
