in crystal when you create a parameter. it can be blank, the user enters
what they like, it can be a pre-determined list of possible values or
dynamic. With dynamic, lets say part number, it will display every single
part number for the user to enter.
the strange here is that it will do this display on my pc but not on the
crystal server, but it used to before the upgrade. I think it went from 7.1
to 7.3 but i have to check that.

All this makes a huge difference.

If one is unfamiliar with an upgrade all sorts of weird things may happen.
For example,
- forgetting to start the database server support after the upgrade (like
STRHOSTSVR)
- forgetting to apply any ptfs so that things will work and the INZSYS
runs
- corrupted the database cross reference files and need to run RCLSTG
*DBXREF
- left system in a restricted state and started stuff piecemeal.

So we would end up just guessing. We gave up instead.

Ok, the thing here is we have almost no information to go on.
Ok, so my knowledge of Crystal Reports is nil but stuff like this

only makes me wonder where it got those values originally.

And we don't know what you even upgraded: OS, Crystal Reports, ERP
package, etc.
