I'm new to the direct install of PTFs from Fix Central. I just ordered
2
group PTFs and selected the direct install option. It downloaded OK
and I
see a panel from Fix Central indicating that the Fix Central function
has
completed successfully and that all the fixes are now downloaded.
When I run that WRKPTFGRP, I see the two groups now showing where they
were not showing before. Both are showing a status of "Not installed"
but
when I look at the details of the group, I see a mix of status
information
being reported including "Save file only", "Temporarily applied" and
"Superseded". Nothing that indicates a problem.
In the past, this was always a 2 step process which seems to have been
consolidated into a single process. Is it an issue if the group shows
as
"Not installed"?
Should I consider an IPL?
